As a marketing strategist, Kat’s role is to learn through research and discovery about her clients, their audience, and their marketplace. She then composes and executes a plan to see each client’s goals accomplished with consideration of all the variables.
“Said differently, strategists act as the bridge to create better ideas faster,” Kat says.
With a long and successful history of marketing and advertising, Kat brings perspective and insider insights to our team. Working with ARC Worldwide and MERGE Chicago in the Chicago area, Kat has spent time on consumer brands like Intel, Marco’s Pizza, MillerCoors, Land O’Frost, and Advocate Healthcare. Kat began work as a marketing strategist in higher education, when she worked for Indiana University, leading accounts as a content and creative strategist.
Kat earned her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration, which is now a part of the SC Johnson College of Business.
Her sense of understanding and innovation served as the foundation for many moments that required her to employ that from her work as a sous chef in the Olympic Village at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece to her 900-mile hike on the Appalachian Trail. Today, she uses the same traits she learned through her high-intensity experience to bring success and breakthrough for all client outcomes.
